1850 Redbank Township Census

The following is a copy of the 1850 Census for Redbank Township, Armstrong
County, PA.The names have been verified with the 1850 Census book for Pennsylvania. There
are a few that I could not make out completely and find in the book. These I
will be working on in the future. If anyone can find them in the book, please
forward the book page and name to me so I can ajust my records.As for the spelling of the names, I wrote them as they were or the best
interpretation I could make. Through the years the names have changed. Others
deciphered the 1850 Census for the Pennsylvania book that I used for
reference, so there may be mistakes there, but I feel confident to use it. The
“*” asterisks beside the names indicates that I was able to locate
the name.Pages are listed beside the alphabetical listing. The “A” pages are
the first page, the “B” pages are the second page. Yes, there are 4
pages of 284 – 2 pages that are “A” and 2 pages that are
“B”. There is not a page 285. That page was skipped completely. I
have put the Dwelling number beside the names to help with locating a name.Contributed by Kathleen
