Rule on Heirs

Indiana County; SS
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to Sarah Rodgers, Mary C. Rodgers, Robert Rodgers, John W. Rodgers, Margaret Wakefield, Sarah J. Wakefield, Leticia Rodgers, of whom John W. Rodgers is Committee and Trustee, you and each of you are hereby commanded to be and appear in your proper persons, before the Judges of the Orphans’ Court, at an Orphan’s Court to be holden at Indiana, in and for said county, on the 2nd Monday of December next, then and there to accept or refuse the real estate of the said Henery Rodgers, deceased, at the valuation put upon it by an Inquest duly awarded, to-wit: 121 acres and 61 perches, valued and appraised at $32 per ace, amounting to $3080.80, or show cause why the same should not be sold according to law.
Witness the Honaarable James A. Logan, Esq., President of our said court at Indiana, the 28th day of September, A.D., 1874.

McCreery – Fryer – On Thursday evening, Nov. 26th, 1871, at the residence of the Bride’s father, near St Clair’s mills, Indiana count, Pa., by the Rev. W.S. Owens, Mr. R.C. McCreery and Miss A.W. Fryer

Wylie – McCune – On the 24th Ult., at the residence of the Bride’s broth Wm. McCune, Esq., of Cumberland c., Pa., by Rev. J. Logan Sampie, assisted by Revs, E. Eerskins, D.D., and R.T. McLean, Rev. S. S. Wylie, pastor of Middle Sprint Presbyterian church, to Miss Jennie M. McCune.

DIED

Earhart – On the 8th of November 1874, of paralysis, in Burrel township, Anthony Earhart, aged 73 years.

Sloan – In Philadelphia, on the 27th of November, 1874 after a lingering illness, Mrs. Kate Sloan, wife of Mr. Charles Sloan, formerly of this place, and mother-in-law of Mr. M.F. Jamison, aged about 60 years.
