<u>Walter Shipley Family Holds Annual Reunion At Victoria Homestead</u>
The descendants of the late Walter Shipley held their second annual reunion at the home of Mrs. Mary Shipley on the old homestead at Victoria, above Ohiopyle, Sunday.

The event was in the form of an old fashioned basket picnic, two tables bountifully filled with good things to eat, was spread in the orchard where all present enjoyed the noon and evening meals in happy fellowship.

The afternoon was spent in renewing acquaintances and there was music, both instrumental and vocal, also boat riding and swimming.

Members of the clan and friends present included the following:
Mrs. Mary Shipley, Harry Shipley and daughter, Alma Jean, of Ohiopyle; Mr. and Mrs. Otto Shipley and children, Bobbie, Virginia, Vivian and Richard; R C Shipley and children, R C Jr., Charles Edward and Violet Elizabeth; John Jennings and Mrs. Lysle Shaffer and son, Lee of Beaver Falls; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Shipley and children, Dorothy, Harry, Alvin, Donald, Chloe- Ann and Daniel Wayne and Lee Dawson of McKeesport; Mrs. Crete Baxter of Braddock; Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Jewart and sons Thomas, Jr., and Jack and Mr. and Mrs. Howard West and son, Howard, Jr. of Glassport; Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Shipley and daughters, Alberta and Phyllis of Newell; Mrs. Alverda Yeagley and son, Wendell and Miss Odelia Shipley of Confluence;
