The Corner-stone of a new Church for the United Brethren in Christ, will be laid in Jonestown, on Sunday, the 23d inst.

Real Estate Sales
Peter Strickler sold his Mill Property in this borough, including houses, lots, &c., to his son Abraham, for $13,500.
The real estate of Mr. Henry Meyer in North Annville township, consisting of a store house, dwelling, and lot of ground, was sold by the Sheriff to Mr. John Meyer for $8,025.  His farm (formerly Rupp’s) was sold to Mr. John Keller.
Mr. Christian Hoffer sold his tavern stand in Palmyra, to Mr. Samuel Witter, for $2,200.

Married on the 18th inst., by Rev. Aug. C. Wedekind, Mr. Abraham Brechbill to Miss Mary A. Kreider, both of South Lebanon township.

Married on the 26th ult., by the Rev. J. Stein, Mr. Washington Horn to Miss Rebecca Helm, both of Jonestown.

Married on the 11th inst., by Rev. F. W. Kremer, Mr. George Steins, of Lebanon, to Miss Elizabeth Spangler, of Jackson.

Married on the 9th inst., by the Rev. P. B. Marr, Mr. John S. Freil, to Miss Sarah C. Hafer, both of Shamokin, Northumberland County.

Died on the 5th inst., in Bethel, Mr. Christian Hunsicker, aged 81 years, 4 months and 9 days.

Died on the 14th inst., in Cornwall, Mr. Wm. Smith, aged 55 years, 2 mo., and 1 day.

Died on the 16th inst., in this borough, Mary Catharine, daughter of Cyrus and Louisa Ristenbatt, aged 5 mo. and 15 days,
