Inscriptions says the following about this cemetery:Balltown Cemetery — Howe Township–Local lifetime resident, Clarence Alfred
Robinson, told me that “old” Mr. & Mrs. Watson and their daughter were buried
beside a spring near a camp called “The Last Resort” a quarter of a mile back on
a lane off the Watson Farm Road. They never had any tombstones.In the 1880 census there was an Isaac Watson age about 83, born 1797 in England
living in Howe Township.  He was living in the township as early as
1852 according to tax records. In the 1860 census he is living with a Mary
Watson who is 19 years his senior being age 83 and he 64, there is a boy George
age 9 living with them. In the 1870 census he is also in the township with
no spouse.
