J. and Mary Elizabeth (Ryan) Harrington.

James J. Harrington was born in County Cork, Ireland, and his wife in

the University of Dublin, Ireland, and for some years was a member of the

Alfred Harrington attended the public schools with regularity until he was
fifteen years of age and then went to the oil fields in Pennsylvania and

Beecher, under the style of Harrington & Beecher, which continues. This
firm has worked extensively in Crawford county, Ill, and in the McDonald oil
field in Washington county, Pa. In 1892 Mr. Harrington moved to Armstrong
county, Pa., where similar operations have been carried on, and since 1911 he
has been drilling for gas at Apollo, where he maintains his home. He is a
valued and public spirited citizen, and takes pride in his town and section.
