He started out and Heindrich Wildeburger but changed it to Henry Wilberger. What I know of him is that he had a probated will in 1758 and there was also a Melchior Detweiler involved in probating the will. on March 13, 2008Comments: I am looking for any information regarding my great great grandfather Peter Barbey. He had a son names John and 6 daughters one of whom was my grandmother. Her name was Beatrice Helena Barbey who married John E. McCauley – they had one child, my mother, Mary Ellen Barbey McCauley who married Herbert Sturgis Potter from Boston Mass.
Peter Barbey began a brewery in Reading PA and he also had an interest in banking. I have found both Peter and John Barbey in Morton Montgomery volumes. I want to learn how to find out more about these two early industrialists who lived in Reading, PA.
I would appreciate any guidance about where to look further for information about them.
