Dear: Koerner Family Member, Friend. You are invited to celebrate George Jacob Koerner and Catherine Salarne I arrivals to Paradise Twp., PA, (PA 940 & Devils Hole S.P. Rd.), AD 1800+ from yesterday’s Grand Duchy of Baden today’s Baden-Württemberg, Germany, E.U. (How? Please tell us!)
WHEN: 1st Saturday, August 4 th, FM: 9 a.m. until dusk. WHERE: PROMISE LAND STATE PARK, PA, ROUTES PA 390 and I-84. We will have Pavilion with sun and rain cover; electricity; toilets; grills are available. Bring rain coats, umbrellas, lawn chairs and things for your comfort. COST: Please provide $ 5 to Levine to help cover expenses. Bring a give away gift for the Grab Bag. ($5 value) The Pavilion Rental is paid by Levine/Corey. BRING: Food for yourself and for the Sharing Table; provide CHARCOAL or electric pot/grill; Swim Suits; Toys, Games, Bat Glove and Balls; Fishing Equipment, Horse Shoes, Beam Bags. Show your Koerner Genealogy Photos, Bibles and Old Letters. 9 AM is Coffee time.
12 Noon: Welcoming Anthem: “Gratis for Our Ancestors”.  Family prayer, Grace, Lena Lenapis (Museum, Bushkill, PA) folk tunes and drumming and Me al Time!

1 PM: Play: Socialization! 2 PM: GAMES, please provide them! 3 PM: GENEAOLOGY: Gordon K, Emmett K.G., Loring Bs, and Gary Lee K. 5 PM: Vote nest year’s Reunion location, Officers…6 PM: Dance: Polka, Waltz and Schottische; Sing: “Happy Trails to You”; “Vaya con Dios”; and Auf Wiedersehn. 8PM: Camp Fire Time: singing, jokes, snacking, Koerner Tales… “FOLLOWING: Genealogy UPDATES! (In pre-GDB: His father/mother: George Koerner, pre-GDB, b. Mar. 8, 1742-d. Jun 3, 1784 and Elizabeth Bacharin, b. Sep. 24, 1733-d. Oct.6, 1773. His grandfather: George Jacob, b. Mar 27, 1715-d. Sep.11, 1783. His great-grandfather/mother were Hanna, b. May 29, 1689 and Anna Haag b. 1689. There maybe some Russian, Prussian…connections.)

K NOLL , b. 1815; d. 1874. S ARAH K OERNER b uried St. Pauls/Jones C. in Knoll Plot and also original Koerners’ left of church parking lot, others at Keokee Chapel and Old Quarry/Merryman RD. Old Paradise Church Records, ref. Monroe County H.S. vi. W ILHEMINA K OERNER , b. August 06, 1830. vii. C ATHERINE Salarne II . K OERNER , b. 1846-d. Scranton???. She married Allen Keller, 1867. See Census. ????Lived Doylestown and Scranton with nephew. Died ???"Home of the Friendless”. ??? She sued pre-Germany, GDBaden, for lands confiscated from parents George J. and Catherine Salarne I. The story is printed in a, March 1866, New York Paper. (Source: Wilhelmina’s copy owned by Marion P. Schautz, Lake Ariel 8/1999). These two are related as grand-daughter or-niece.
