WETMORE CEMETERY or (Mr.) JACKSON CEMETERY

Located on highway 62 in North Warren, PA. across the highway from Quality Market. It is on the east side of the highway in an oak grove. It is difficult to see because of the high bank and the old railroad bed. Another across is off State Street. There is a gravel drive on the south side of "The Barley Home" which is directly opposite the driveway for 525 S. State St.  Follow the gravel drive to the oil well and the cemetery is beyond and to the left in the oak grove.

There is some maintenance ongoing for this site - however, many of the stones no longer remain, and many are broken.  The following is a list of the stones for which I copied the information (there are a few more that I did not have time to write down).

Adelhaid Meuer; b. Oct. 18, 1813; d. April 18, 1865; daut. Of Maria Erdman

Eric Lindstram; b. 1885; d. 1909

N. M. A. (very small stone)

G. A. (very small stone)

A. C. H. (very small stone)

H. K. B. (very small stone)

David F. Erickson; b. 1887, d. 1903; son

Anna C.; b. Feb. 4, 1880; d. July 18, 1906; wife of W. Chapman

Sidney N. Berry; aged 32; d. Oct. 29, 1839 [beside headstone for Sidney Berry was a large stone engraved with the following: Sidney N. Berry whose death Oct. 29th A.D. 1839 was caused by a fall of this stone - aged 32 years]

The following three stones were together:

Grandmother Lance; b. 1805; d. 1889

John E. Erickson; b. 1839; d. 1893; husband

Clara Erickson; b. 1841; d. 1917

The following two were together:

Charles E. Carlson; b. 1843; d. 1922

Christina M.; b. 1839; d. 1923

Ethelda Peterson Fenchel; b. 1902; d. 1943

Cynthia M. Stanton (no info, near rear entrance)

Augusta E. Peterson; b. Nov. 12, 1842; d. Sept. 28, 1924; "Gone Home"

Hulda Anderson Peterson; b. 1894; d. 1936

Oscar Peterson; b. 1862; d. 1931

Doris Ileen Witkins; born 1919 - no death date

Francis Edna Peterson; b. 1911; d. 1913

Baby White; b. 1935

Baby White; b. 1932

Hilme Peterson; born 1914

Mrs. Mary Sharp; aged 71; d. Nov. 9, 1841 [inscription reads as follows: To the Memory of Mrs. Mary, relict of William M. Sharp and a native of England, who died Nov. 9, 1841 in the 71 year of her age.]
