As I wrote before,
Will it be Bush? Or will it be Gore?
We pray it's soon o'er,
Because we can't take much more!

We're in the state of confusion. We're in need of relief
The world's full of trouble; wrestling with sin, sorrow, and grief.
We've little room for Jesus in the inn of our modern world!
Some feel the whole idea of faith should be cast out with a whirl!

Stop a little while and reflect.
Reflect upon the gift...the gift that no one would expect.
Reflect upn the gift that God gave us from above.
God gave to us a little child, filled with grace and peace and heavenly love!

There've been times of confusion often before;
Before we ever heard of Bush or of Gore.
So say a prayer, "May the best man win!"
Then open your heart and let Jesus come in.

December's the month that we celebrate.
We have a Redeemer; we're not left to fate.
Let's get on with our business here below.
Christ is the answer...let the whole world know.

"Go tell it on the mountains, over the hills. and everywhere,
Go tell it on the mountains that Jesus Christ is born!"
