Private, Company A, 95th Pennsylvania Infantry. Entered service at:------. Birth: Philadelphia, Pa.

Citation: At Petersburg, Va., 2 April 1865, bravely assisted in the capture of one of the enemy's guns; with the first troops to enter the city, captured the flag of the Confederate customhouse.

Date of issue: 28 March 1879.

 

GEORGE N. GALLOWAY

Private, Company G, 95th Pennsylvania Infantry. Entered service at: ------. Birth: Philadelphia, Pa.

Citation: Voluntarily held an important position under heavy fire at Alsops Farm, Va., 8 May 1864.

Date of issue: 24 October 1895.

 

FRANCIS A. WILSON

Corporal, Company B, 95th Pennsylvania Infantry. Entered service at: Philadelphia Pa. Birth: Philadelphia, Pa

Citation: Was among the first to penetrate the enemy's lines and himself captured a gun of the 2 batteries captured. At Petersburg, Va., 2 April 1865..

Date of issue: 25 June 1880.
