50thAnniversary Ribbon

 My great-grandfather, Mathew Thornton Gayley attended the 50th anniversary reunion. His brother, Corporal James Gayley, served in Company I. James was captured at Reams Station on August 25, 1864, and died at Camp Parole on October 23, 1864. He is buried in the Annapolis National Cemetery .
