ST. CLAIR A. MULHOLLAND

Major, 116th Pennsylvania Infantry. Entered service at: Philadelphia, Pa. Born: 1 April 1839, Ireland.

Citation: In command of the picket line held the enemy in check all night to cover the retreat of the Army. At Chancellorsville, Va., 4-5 May 1863.

Date of issue: 26 March 1895.

LOUIS J. SACRISTE

First Lieutenant, Company D, 116th Pennsylvania Infantry. Entered service at: Philadelphia, Pa. Born: 15 June 1843, New Castle County, Del.

Citation: At Chancellorsville, Va., 3 May 1863. Saved from capture a gun of the 5th Maine Battery. At Auburn, Va., 14 October 1863. Voluntarily carried orders which resulted in saving from destruction or capture the picket line of the 1st Division, 2d Army Corps.

Date of issue: 3I January 1889.

JAMES M. SEITZINGER

Private, Company G, 116th Pennsylvania Infantry. Entered service at: Worcester, Pa. Birth: Germany.

Citation: At Cold Harbor, Va., 3 June 1864. When the color bearer was shot down, this soldier seized the colors and bore them gallantly in a charge against the enemy

Date of issue: 1 March 1906.
