Enrolled January 26, 1864 at Philadelphia; mustered in asPrivate, January 29, 1864; age at enrollment: 16; mustered out January 29, 1866at City Point, Va.

Also served in Company K, PA Provisional 2d Heavy Artillery

Applied for a pension February 1, 1881, Application No.416,388, Certificate No. 332,560. His widow applied for a pension, ApplicationNo. 857,980, Certificate No. 653,565
