I am seeking information on Susan SHINDLE (or SHINDEL) who was born about 1822 in Pennsylvania. I suppose her surname was SHINDLE because her eldest son was named Frederick Shindle KELLER. Susan was married to Isaac KELLER, a shoemaker from Philadelphia. I am aware of several people named Frederick SHINDLE (SHINDEL).
Frederick SHINDEL was born in Germany on 10th May 1724 and settled in Manchester Township, York County, PA and died there on 26th August 1804.
Frederick G. SHINDEL was his son and was born 27th August 1763 and died 19th November 1815 in York County.
The above family was associated with Quickel or Zion Lutheran Church in Conewago Township, York County, PA.
Frederick SHINDEL of York County was born 30th Nov 1806 and married Sarah HAKES (also HCH).
Another Frederick SHINDLE was born 11th November 1819 in Lancaster, PA.
I would appreciate any information that could indicate or suggest a link between Susan and other members of the SHINDLE family. Of course if such a link exists, then I would be most interested in further information about the family.

I need the find THE Thomas Morgan who marries Rebecca Jenkins in 1803 in Lancster County Carnarvon TWP. She is the daughter of John Jenkins and Elizabeth DOUGLASS. It has been suggested that Thomas Morgan is the son of Frances Morgan. This Thomas Morgan was born 1759 and Rebecca Jenkins was born abt 1780. It seems clear that Thomas is of this family of Caernarvon Twp., but I NEED to have this documented and would appreciate any help that can be given. It is not the son of William Morgan who dies in abt 1810 and is is not Thomas Morgan of John Morgan who dies in 1749 with mother Ruth. John Jenkins will states daughter Rebecca having recently wed Thomas Morgan. The union was by Rev Boos in 1803. Thomas Morgan and Rebecca Jenkins move to Franklin Cty 1806 with Wm McVitty and then the Morgan family is in Venango Cty, PA 1810 census. Thomas Morgan dies abt 1829 in Venango. It is said that he had one SON (which I know nothing about) and five daughters who married suanemes are Wilson, Dunkle, Reeser, REID, and Loque. John Lee REID born 1799 of PA marries Elizabth Morgan daughter of Thomas Morgan and Rebecca Jenkins MOrgan. I NEED JOHN LEE REID famliy history. Can you help????
The daughter of John Lee Reid and Elizabeth Morgan names Rebecca Jane REID marries JOHN LEE FORKER. The Lee seems to be important and a middle name of REId born 1799 and FORKER born 1825 (in Venango Cty, Pa of John FORKER/FARQUHAR and Sybella Jones of a LEVI JONES. It appears that Sybella Jones brother was a Thomas JONES born 1773 that married catherine STOVER married Sept 1795 of Matthais Stover and Catherine Springer Lancaster and MD (1790 census). There is a Hugh Forker with a JAmes , Robert, and a George in Lancaster Cty first appearing in 1769 and all seem gone b y 1794. james Forker seems to be with a surname Bleaks.
In 1810 in Washington County, Fallowfiled Twp a patrick Faqruhar/Forker is with Wm WITHEROW. In the book Daniel Perrine the hugonot is states that a patrick Forker of PA and his wife Elizabeth have a daughter Janet who is born 1762 and marries James Perrine in 1782 Dunningsville, PA. This union of Forker and Perrine has a son Wm that marries Elizabeth Withrow (Witherow) befire 1805. Is the name Witherow the same as Witherill??????? Like many I am searching for the parents of ANDREW DOUGLASS born 1702 and his wife Jane/Jean ROSS ( both die by 1741/42). He is to be the brother of James, Thomas, and ARCHIBALD DOUGLASS--all have died by 1756 This Douglas famliy marries into many families from Lancaster and Berks Cty. Someone MUST have a family bible. The mystery of this family NEEDS to be SOLVED. Who are JOHN and William Douglass who are in Lancaster Cty prior to 1750 and are mentioned in the will of Andrew Doulgass. He is the father of George, Andrew and Mary. The wife of George is Mary Piersol. The daughter MAry Douglass marries John Elliot who is also the quardian of ANdrew after Edward Berwick resigns. I have always felt that Edward Berwick might be married to a Douglass. This is a long query and this names continue to be a mystery for me in the state of PA and PLEASE help if you can with any ideas or suggestions to fix the many puzzles.

HIMMELRIGHT, SMITH posted by Sheila Himmelright on Saturday, April 29, 2000

I am researching the family of Jacob(Johannes and Jane(Jana ) Smith Himmelright from PA. Jacob was born around 1785, Jane around 1789. Supposedly Jacob was born in PA, and went to England to meet Jane, he was working for her father. Their first child was born in 1803, They had four children Henry(Nancy Stoner) Himmelright, John and Catharine BrillHimmelright, Samuel Francis (Mary B. Ellis)Himmelright, and William Jacob Himmelright(Melvina Day, and Amanda Royal), All four boys settled in Ohio to have families, several families link into this lineage, however, I don't know where all the other Himmelright researchers are at these days, William Jacob Himmelright was the only child whom decided to have two seperate families, his second family was raised in IN, IL, and NE. The rest remained in Ohio. I am also searching for more information on Jacob and Jane Himmelright, if you are researching this family, or link into these names, please contact me, so that I can add your lineage to the rest of the family, so far I have close to the third generation, and bits and pieces of the fourth, would like to have more though, so be in touch. William Jacob's children include: Thomas Jacob, John, Eliza, Amanda, William Royal. Henry Jefferson, George, Charlie, Mariah, Francis, Mary,Theadore, Dora, Harriet, Joseph. Samuel Francis's children include: Eliza, John Wesley, James F., Elizabeth, Caroline J., Edward M., Margaret Francis, Carrie. Henry's children with Nancy Stoner include: William J, John H. George, Mary Ann, George. Harriet, and two unidentified. John and Catharine's children include: Lewis, Jacob, Mary, Sarah, Samuel, John, Elizabeth, Matilda, Ann M. If you recognize any of these names, and tie in, please get a hold of me. Thanks, as far as I can tell all have the spelling of Himmelright, maybe some variation, so please let me know.
