In 1879 my 2nd gr grandmother, Emily Leech Rudolph, received a 'legacy' of $47.75. I believe this was from the estate of one of her aunts that lived in Lancaster Co. and never married-Elizabeth or Anna LEECH. Emily was first notified of the legacy in a letter from W.M. Cooper on 12/28/1878. She received the money on 4/20/1879. Is there anyone in Lancaster Co. who can look for this document for me, or give me an address to write to, and the cost? I would be willing to pay for your time to do this.

IMHOFF: Looking for information on IMHOFF's, ca 1800, in the Lancaster County, PA area. Believe that my gggg- grandfather John IMHOFF was born in that area; probably in Hampfield or Manheim Twp. about 1795. He would have moved as a young man to Somerset County, PA. He married a Sarah ???? probably about 1817, but not sure if it was Lancaster or Somerset County. They had three children all born in Somerset County (William b. 1818; Eliza b. 1824 and Mary Ann b. 1827). John died in 1833 in Allegheny Twp., Somerset County. His parents may have been a Charles m. Sarah JENKINS or Jacob m. Margaret SHUCKER. There was some research done on the Imhoff line about 1946, by a Charles B. IMHOFF, as evidenced by a letter to Wallace G. IMHOFF found at the Somerset County Genealogical Society. If anyone has any information on the IMHOFF'S, or on the research done by Charles B., please let me know. My grandmother's father was named Ashmore PUSEY NULL (b. 1852) and I am seeking information concerning which PUSEY ancestor might have lent that middle name to Ashmore. His father was David NULL (b. 1803) and his mother was Emiline (Emily) ALLISON (b. 1813) and they are shown in the 1850 and 1860 census in Sadsbury Township, Lancaster County. David NULL, a millwright, probably originated in Bart Township, Lancaster County. I know that Emily's mother was named Rebecca, but I do not know Rebecca's maiden name. I have reason to believe that Rebecca arrived in America from England as a ten year old girl about 1794 and after the death of her ALLISON husband she married a man named MILLER and died on June 1, 1882 at the age of 98. Ashmore PUSEY NULL married Laura MCCARTER of Chester County and they lived in Christiana, right near the county line between Lancaster and Chester Counties. Does anyone recognize any of these names or circumstances that might link with PUSEY ancestors in Lancaster County? I would apreciate any help that can be provided. Thanks. David H. Jones

CLARK/BENNETT This is the scenario - one of my paternal ggrandfathers was Thomas Clark of Chester Co. (James and Hannah Hayes Clark family). He was born in 1778. Married first Susan Gladney of E.Fallowfield twp in July 1804 in West Chester. At the time he was of Colerain twp., Lancaster and associated with Black Rock Furnace and Foundry. My ggrandmother was Hannah Bennett, not Susan. Something must have happened to Susan around 1811. I want to know when and where he married Hannah Bennett and who her parents were. By 1820 they are in Lycoming twp., Lycoming Co. and in 1825 Thomas purchased land in Scipio twp, Seneca County with Archibald Stewart and they remained there the rest of their lives. Does anyone out there know about any of this. I know a lot about these families but am against a brick wall about Hannah. I think I have Thomas line back to Antrim Ireland.
