The WEB Page was inadvertantely left off this original query I have placed a "Descendants of Jacob Acker" WEB page in circulation. It cover Ackers from Germany, through Chester and Lancaster Counties Pennsylvania, Rockingham County, Virginia and into Delaware and Henry Counties, IN. An invitation is extended to each of you to particapte in an effort to fill out the details of the family, including a compilation of primary and secondary souces. I hope to be able to turn this page into a definitative statement on the family. The page itself is based on information that has been culled over the last several weeks from FTM WEB pages, GENFORUM conversations and a few books. With the exception of the sources used to document the James R. Clevenger and Mary M. Ackers descendants, it is all guesswork and hearsay. Please help me by providing me with either copies of sources or at least pointers to the primary/secondary sources that may exist. Certainly feel free to correct any obvious errors that you see. The page is at: http://www.uftree.com/UFT/WebPages/RichardEParr/ACKERJAC/index.htm Rich Parr Morgan Hill, CA

In attempt to find Faulkner/Ferree families I find this format ridiculous.Have you nothing previous to the 1800s? A wealth of information exists during the 1600-1700S, during the colonization era---so why not do a tad of in-depth researching and present it without the requirement of purchasing it? Your format needs revamping to adhere to the standards of GENWEB.

Orr - Mid 1700's, Lancaster, PA I'm trying to find my Orr ancestor who settled in Lancaster. This Orr had at least two sons, James, born about 1798, and Samuel, born about 1800. My only clue to a Lancaster connection is this bio of John H. Orr, a son of the James mentioned above: "John H. Orr was born in Washington County, PA, Aug. 7, 1826. He was a son of James and Elizabeth (Grant) Orr, natives of Pennsylvania. The father's sire was from Ireland, and settled, on landing in New York, in Lancaster, Pa. and the mother's parents were from Germany. Thank you, Steve

HANNAH, MCKILLIP - I am searching for info on the descendants of Andrew HANNAH and his wife Elizabeth. Andrew died in 1760. William WOODS, a sister Elizabeth who md. Moses CARSON and a sister Margaret who md. Willaim DAVIS. Would be glad to exchange information with anyone working on these lines.
