They were married circa 1842 and had children Almira, Obediah, William H., Deborah (Minnie), John F., Robert, James M., Charles H. and Ellen. The family moved to Crawford County, Ohio circa 1855. I'm looking for information on the parents and grandparents of Nancy Ellen MCANINCH who married Henry P. HOLT in Jeff. Co. c. 1850. Records show Nancy to have been the daughter of an Elijah MCANINCH, but there were evidently two Elijah MCANINCHs in Jeff. Co. around this time, the sons of brothers William and Henry(?) MCANINCH, and I haven't been able as yet to discover which Elijah fathered Nancy. If anyone has any info. on this family from before 1850

I'm trying to obtain information on the WEBER's and BUCHEITT. P.J. BUCHITTE has 120 acres west of US 119 near Sykesville and his daughter Catherene married Charles August WEBER in 1866. This was my great grandparents would like to have the names of their children which my grandfather was one. The WEBER children were raised by a Quaker family, and their names were H.R. Knarr and his wife was Catherine MARSHALL. They lived in Rumburger.

John and Peter were both in the Civil War along with John's brother Adam. Our homes centered around Big Soldier, Brookville, and Sykesville. Information on any of them would be appreciated. I am looking descendants of James and Margaret DOUGLASS SHIELDS to include in a family history. James was a soldier in the American Revolution and is buried in the old Findley Street cemetery in Punxsutawney. He lived to be over one hundred years old. James and Margaret lived in Indiana County. Many of their descendants lived in Jefferson County. I am also looking for any information on their ancestors. I have been unable to find parentage for either of them. James is reported to have been born in Adams County, Pennsylvania, but I have not been able to find any proof of this. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Charles GRAF b.1824 Germany married Margaret ? in about 1855? in Punxsutawney, PA. This couple and eight of their 10 children moved to Ohio in about 1878. We are interested in finding out Margaret's last name and where she was from.
