This cemetery is located behind the HOFFMAN farm in Oak Hill, Karthaus Township,

Clearfield County, Pennsylvania. For reasons unknown to me at this time, the sign in the front/side of the cemetery reads, BRIDGENS Cemetery, I do not knew when and why this cemetery changed names from the "Old" Oak Hill, to the Bridgens. There are more graves in this cemetery, but the stones are long since gone, the stones that are still there are in remarkably good condition for the age of them, just a couple are unreadable, and just a few are broken, and a couple are laying down. The vets in this cemetery are still honored for there are flags set near veterans stones. This cemetery I feel is becoming one of the cemeteries that will be totaly forgotten in time, rumors have it that this cemetery was once much bigger, but when some land was striped nearby alot of the stones on the one side was pushed under by the dozers. With the records long gone there is no way to tell how many and who was buried in this cemetery.
