I have two photographs taken in Parker, PA; Armstrong county. One is of William W. Sendker, age around three (~1870) and the other is of Edmond S. Sendker, age around three (~1900). Both pictures were taken by "C. J. Snyder; #2 Second Street, Parker PA". William was Edmond's father and both lived their entire lives in Buffalo NY. I have found a Kathryn Isabell Sendker (connection unknown) that had a child; Willaim Wesley Dowling, born in Kittenning, PA; Armstrong County on May 1st, 1898. This would place Kathryn in William's generation. I am looking for a connection..

Trying to put together as complete a family tree on the Enterline family as possible. All Enterlines are descended from Rev. Johann Michael Enderlein b:1726, so I am interested in obtaining information from all branches of the Enterline family. It appears that most of those in Armstrong Co. are descended from Daniel Enterline b:1813, a grandson of Rev. Enderlein. I am especially interested in the descendants of Daniel's sons Philip Martin Enterline b:1855 & Samuel Shives Enterline b:1861 and descendants of his Grandson Isaac M. Enterline b:1872.

BURNS, LEE, MCGUIGAN posted by Susan Gibson on Wednesday, January 20, 1999

I am reseraching the McGuigan family of Butler and possibly Armstrong Counties.
My family includes these people
Mary Margaret McGuigan, born in Chicora, PA 1867 parents, Patrick McGuigan of New York & Bessie Burns, of Ireland.
A recent lookup in the "175th anniversary book of St. Patrick's Church" (I am assuming this is St Patrick's Church of Worthington, PA) mentions someone of the name McGuigan,
'There was a very short write-up on Father McGuigan in the 175th anniversary book of St. Patrick's church. It stated that he was born May 1, 1870 in Oil City and was ordained on 21 Jul 1912. He served at St. Patrick's from 21 Sep 1922 until 23 Jul 1924. He then went to Mater Dolorosa Church in Chicora, and served there until his death on 11 Apr 1931.'
The Father's Obit stated
'Rev. Father P. G. McGuigan, aged 61. He was born in Oil City, the son of the late Owen M. and Margaret Conley McGuigan. Early in life he moved to New Brighton. Veteran of the World War. [WWI] Surviving are three sisters, Miss Alice McGuigan of Chicora, Mrs. A. Reilly of Beaver Falls, and Mrs. Gertrude O'Connell of Rome, NY. He was buried in the St. Mary's Catholic cemetery at Pittsburgh.'
He had been in charge of the Mater Dolorosa church in Chicora for the past nine years, at the time of his death. This obituary was in the Butler Eagle, 11 Apr 1931, p.1. He would have been born about 1870.
Anyone out there who could help? I have little info and do not believe this man to be a direct relative, but with the low occurence of the MCGUIGAN name I am hoping that perhaps he was a cousin of my family's...
