Her father is John PAIN b. c1780. On Lettishia's death certificate it says her mother's name is Berula PAIN or BAIN. However, family information says her name was Mary. Conrad Hartung married Anna Elisabeth Truby(Trube) around 1850. The first son, George, was born in 1851. Two sons, Augustus and Christian followed. The three boys were born in PA. Sometime in late 1850s, the went down the Ohio River by barge from Freeport, PA and landed in Pomeroy,Meigs,OH. The fourth son, Lawrence Casper (my grandfather), was born in 1861 in Pomeroy. Conrad Hartung came from Germany in the early 1840s. He served in the Mexican-American War in the marines on the USS Germantown. This would imply they were married after 1848. I do not know anything about Anna Elisabeth Truby(Trube) other than the above. From their tombstones in Junction City, KS, Conrad Hartung was born 6 April 1826. Anna Elisabeth Truby(Trube) was born 18 April 1830.
