Francis Marion Patterson, born Sept. 21, 1840 in Westmoreland County, died August 14, 1906 in McKeesport, Allegheny County, PA. His father was David Wilson Patterson (birthplace unknown). Francis Marion married Telie Orphalina Whiting November 19, 1868 in Fayette City, Fayette County, PA, daughter of George and Eleanor Whiting. Children include: Lewis Whiting Patterson, Sr., Ziba Wilson Patterson, Eleanor Whiting Patterson, Joseph Price Patterson and Isaac Newton (Burt) Patterson. Joseph Price Patterson was born in Westmoreland County - the other children were born in Fayette, Washington and Allegheny Counties.
