John Peter Bitner aka Peter Bitner b. 26 Dec 1776 in PA christened 15 Oct. 1777 at Berlin Union Church, Berlin, Somerset Co. died bef. 13 Apr 1852 in Donegal Twp. Westmoreland Co. Married Anna Maria or Mary Mathews b. 11 Sep 1783 in Bedford Co. Peter was an early pioneer in Westmoreland Co. and of German descent.
Children of the marriage were:
Sarah Bitner b. 18 may 1803
Catherine Bitner b. abt. 1807 marr. James Scott
Susan Bitner b. abt 1824
