INGLEHART, WALKER posted by Jeanne W Stone on Monday, December 26, 2005

Glenn WALKER lived in Shinglehouse, PA and died there in 1969. Can anyone tell me where he is buried and/or provide information about his wives. He first married Evangeline INGLEHART who died ca 1933, his second wife was Blanche (maiden name unknown). If anyone can locate obituaries or cemetery records your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

PERKINS posted by Ruth A. Larson on Tuesday, January 31, 2006

I am compiling a booklet about former rural and early school teachers once of Elk and several nearby counties. Miss Nellie PERKINS was a teacher in the rural area of Glen Hazel in 1902. After 1902 any informaton about her disappears so I'm wondering what happened to her. I wonder if she continued as a teacher. Perhaps she married which would mean her teaching career ended. I would like to find out what happened to Miss Perkins. An obit. would probably answer all of my questions about her. According to a brief notation in a Johnsonburg newspaper she went back and forth from Glen Hazel to Coundersport which was probably her parents home. Any and all assistance will be greatly appreciated.
