Jeremiah ROMIG, of New Hanover, died on Tuesday after a lingering illness. The funeral will be held today at the Lutheran Church at that place. Mr. ROMIG was a member of Sparta Castle, No. 71, O.A.K. of M.C., of Fagleysville. He was 73 years, 3 months and 12 days of age. He had been a farmer in that section for over 50 years. Two sons survive him: George and Henry ROMIG, both of whom reside near Swamp.

Dr. Stackhouse was married at Allentown, Pennsylvania, 12 mo. 8, 1868, to Ella Jane Romig, daughter of William J. and Mary Ann Catharine (Royer) Romig, and they are the parents of two children: William Romig Stackhouse, of Moorestown, New Jersey, who was born in Chester township, Burlington county, New Jersey, January 10, 1870, and married Rebecca Gibson; and Ernest Robert Stackhouse, born at Allentown, Pennsylvania, December 3, 1884. Another child, Ernest Raymond, born January 17, 1874, died young.

HOFFMANSVILLE

George MANTE moved on Tuesday to Swamp on Jeremiah ROMIG dec'd farm. James GRIESAMER also moved on Thursday to Swamp on his fathers farm and Henry STETLER will move on the Reuben RENNINGER's farm vacated by James GREISAMER. It was stated in last week's news that Henry STETLER, would farm his fathers farm which is incorrect.
