Also, some of the records that have been transcribed are secondary sources. Information that you find here should be used to provide leads and not as proof or fact.
About Montgomery County
Montgomery County was created on 10 September 1784 out of land that was originally part of Philadelphia County. It is located northwest of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It is part of the Delaware Valley. The Lehigh Valley region is north of Montgomery County.

Old Site Content
I archived (removed) the old content from the site. It had many broken links for email addresses and site URLs. The formatting doesn't match the current site. By now, I've reformatted the most useful information and incorporated it into the new site.
