- Searching for any information on the Eli and Catharine Hamme Overdeer family, originally from York County, moved to Lancaster City by 1850 and had the following children: Algernon S, Horace J, Louisa, Sarah A, John J, George W and Eli Silas. The children apparently stayed in the Lancaster, York and Dauphin county areas. Eli Sr and Catharine both died in Lancaster County before 1900. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

- It appears my wife's father's oldest ancestors are: John Schnader/Schneder born 1798 near New Holland His father: Christian Schneder/Schnieder born before 1762 in Lancaster Cty. Died ??? Location unknown. His father was Jacob Schnieder born in Brecknock Twp. Died 1829 East Earl Twp. and lastly his father: Jacob Schnieder born abt.1709 in Switzerland died 1790 in Cocalico Twp. Any info about any of these folks appreciated.

- There have been RITZ's in Lancaster Co. Have been searching for my gr. gr. gr. grandfather, Solomon RITZ born ca 1785. He married in Washington Co., MD. to Mary WISE in 1808. They both died young leaving 3 orphaned children. Have been searching for the parents of Solomon. Suspect he and parents were residents of one of the PA. counties before moving to MD. If anyone researching RITZ has come across any wills or estate papers mentioning a Solomon and you dont' know what happened to him maybe he is my ancestor.

- I am looking for any information on the family of Herbert Johnston, who may have also been John Herbert Johnston. He was in the newspaper bussiness. The only child I know of is Nellie,b. abt. 1863, who married William Campbell in 1879. Herbert and wife were living in Philadelphia by 1890. Any help on this family would be very much appreciated. Thank You
