Most ended in Missouri. I am looking for any information on the family or descendants of Gustav FUNK born abt. 1809 in Wurttemberg, Germany. He immigrated in 1852 with children Gustav-Adolph born abt. 1830, Euphrosine born abt. 1831, Catharina born abt. 1834, Lousie born abt. 1836, and Christian born abt. 1843. Gustav-Adolph was my gggrandfather and lived in Columbia, Lancaster Co. for awhile before settling in Phila. after the Civil War. They landed in Baltimore, Md. and their destination was listed as Michigan. I have been unable to find a trace of the family other than Gustav-Adolph. Would appreciate hearing from anyone doing research on the Funk families from Wurttemberg.

It's just too odd that out of 3 generations of LE FEVER's who were born in Lancaster, PA that they weren't related to THE PA LE FEVRE's. HELP!! Jill :]

RAPP. Looking for any record of Matthias RAPP. Born about 1748 in Germany. According to family tradition was sent as an orphan to Lancaster County to be raised by relatives. The relatives may have been named LeFebvre. Matthias Rapp married Margaret. In the 1770's they lived near Hagerstown, MD. In the 1780's they moved to Rockbridge County VA.

They had the following children 1)Mary Ann died as a baby 2)Lucetta Rosetta md Matthias Brinser of Dauphin Co in Lancaster twp 1852,d 28 Apr 1853. 3)Davis Richards md Louisa Nye in London England, was a performer in the circus and was killed in a bare back riding accicent in St Petersburg Russia in 1866. 4)Lydia md Jonas C. Brinser of Dauphin co. brother of Mattias, they lived at Middletown Dauphin Co.. 5)George unmarried served as a solider in the US Army and Died at Ft Mead in Sout Dakota. 6)William Henry b:1838 served in the Civil War worked on the Railroad when it came to Utah he settled there and md Mary Jane Asper 7)Louisa md Richard Wickel he cousin from Lancaster Co. They were married in St Louis Missouri and settled in Utah. all of these children were born in New Holland Lancaster co. PA. Christian died in about 1844. Christian had three brother ABRAHAM, JOHN, and GEORGE. George md Mary TROXELL in abt 1832 in Lancaster or Adams Co PA.
