BRADLEY, MYERS posted by Joe Myers on Thursday, September 30, 1999

Were David MYERS and Mary BRADLEY married in Adams, Cumberland, Dauphin, Lancaster or York County, Pennsylvania in 1801/1802? After several years of searching for the marriage place and birthplace of my 4th Great Grandfather I have come to the conclusion that I must look further afield. This is the reason for my request for help from the surrounding counties of York County, Pennsylvania. The information that I have on my 4th Great Grandparents is the following. David Myers b. 1778, m. Mary Bradley b. 1777. This marriage was noted in the Warrington Monthly Meeting on 12 Sep 1801 when it was stated that she married out of the faith. She was then disowned in the Warrington meeting of 10 Apr 1802. Mary Bradley was the daughter of Joseph Bradley of Monaghan Township, York County, PA. I have no information on the identity of Mary Bradley's Mother. The relationship between Mary Bradley and David Myers is also noted in the Orphan Court Records brought about by Salome Bradley for Minor Children of her husband Joseph Bradley who died intestate. I picked up David and Mary again in 1806 in Montgomery County, Ohio as a result of the Orphan Court Actions. I also have extensive data on their whereabouts to their death in Washington Co., Indiana. This includes data on many of their descendants. I am willing to share data with anyone interested in this Family Line.
