CUTHBERT, KOCHERSBERGER, KOCHERSPERGER, LENTZ, WILSON posted by Shelley Cuthbert on Wednesday, June 30, 1999

CUTHBERT/WILSON/LENTZ/KOCHERSPERGER/KOCHERSBERGER - Cuthberts owned land in Lancaster County in 1880's. They disappeared! Let me preface- John Cuthbert married Magdelane Howell in 1735, had Catherine, Allen, Thomas and John in Chester County, Pa. We believe they went to an Episcopal Church in Lancaster as well as in Chester Co. West Whiteland. A John CUTHBERT was baptized by Rev. Traugott Illing in 1779 in Lancaster, his parents were John and Mary Evans Cuthbert. After that and in 1786 John Cuthbert, Jr. sold his 200 acres but stayed in Chester Co. until after 1820. A William, born 1802, and a John WILSON CUTHBERT, born 1806, are born in Northern Liberties, near Phila. Pa. John Wilson Cuthbert married Sarah Ann KOCHERSPERGER. They had a Henry LENTZ CUTHBERT. Whether the 1779 John and 1806 John can be linked or not is the question. Many people are interested in this line. Please e-mail me if interested in any of these names.
