I have placed a "Descendants of Jacob Acker" WEB page in circulation. It cover Ackers from Germany, through Chester and Lancaster Counties Pennsylvania, Rockingham County, Virginia and into Delaware and Henry Counties, IN. An invitation is extended to each of you to particapte in an effort to fill out the details of the family, including a compilation of primary and secondary souces. I hope to be able to turn this page into a definitative statement on the family. The page itself is based on information that has been culled over the last several weeks from FTM WEB pages, GENFORUM conversations and a few books. With the exception of the sources used to document the James R. Clevenger and Mary M. Ackers descendants, it is all guesswork and hearsay. Please help me by providing me with either copies of sources or at least pointers to the primary/secondary sources that may exist. Certainly feel free to correct any obvious errors that you see. Seeking information on the families of BRADEN and WRIGHT that may have come from Lancaster Co., PA to Loudoun Co., VA before 1800. I know that my BRADEN line ties in with the WRIGHT line in several places and I suspect that if I can determine where the WRIGHTs came from before Loudoun, I may find my BRADENs too. The WRIGHT-BRADEN connections I know of are as follows: Robert Braden Sr (died 1794) may have been married to a Sarah WRIGHT. This has not been confirmed and may well be incorrect. Joseph Braden (son of Robert Sr) married Sarah WRIGHT (date & place unknown). Joseph died about 1810 in Loudoun. Sarah died in Loudoun about 1816. Joseph & Sarah may have been first cousins. Margaret Braden (daughter of Robert Sr and sister of Joseph above) married Robert WRIGHT. Their children were Frances, Elizabeth & John. Various WRIGHTs and BRADENs witnessed documents for each other during the late 1700s - early 1800s in Loudoun. I know that the BRADENs lived in the Waterford area, as did Anthony WRIGHT and William WRIGHT, among others. A recent clue indicates that a large family of WRIGHTS (Anthony & his wife Elizabeth) were Quakers who came to Loudoun from Lancaster Co., PA. Any clues appreciated

I am trying to find information on Amelia Morrow, of Voganville, Earl Township, Lancaster County. According to her will, her property was adjoining the land of P. H. (?) Wideman. She had a grand-son Franklin Davidson, son Thomas and a daughter Eliza. C. S. Hoffman, of said village, was to be Executor of her will, and the witnesses were Christian Hoffman, and Isaac Vogan. She died sometime around December 1870. Is there anyway to find out where she is buried? Are there any listed obituaries for this time period? How about cemetary records? I do not know what her maiden name is or what her husbands name was. I appreciate any help. Thank you, Suzanne
