- I am looking for information on the ancestors and family of John F. Gearhart and Susan or Susanna Burd. John was bornin 1825 and died in 1892. He and Susan lived on the Gearhart farm "one mile east of Putneyville" in Jefferson County. Susan was born in 1827 and died in 1892. They had 12 children including Owen W. "O.W." Gearhart and Elizabeth Ann "Annie" Gearhart..

- According to our family records my GGGPs, Richard Bell and Elizabeth Goss Bell died in Brookville, Jefferson County, PA. My GF George James was born in 1881 in DuBois in the neighboring county. I am not sure where the family actually lived. My GGPs Ivar James and Harriet Bell James took 4 of their boys to Washington State in the 1890's but the rest of the family stayed behind. Supposed they were coalminers/teamsters. I am looking for any information on this family..

- My grandmother was born in Punxsutawney, Jefferson Co, her name was Teresa Dusch, she married a Charles Saxton. I do not where or when he was born. My grandother's parents were Paul Dusch & Elizabeth McDonald. I know that in 1943, she worked at the Dubois Laundry Company. At some point she remarried a Clifton Brady. I don't know if she Charles Saxton died or it was a divorced. I hope this helps in some way. If you have any information that I can use, please email me.

- I am a descendent of Parliment Hutchins (1817-1887) married to Esther Slawson (1817-1897) who lived in Pinecreek Twp., Jefferson County, PA. I have info on all children and many descendents. Their son Judson P. Hutchins (1847-1925) married Christena Hetrick (1850-1928). Christena was the daughter of Jacob Hetrick (1823) and Eve Mary Shaffer (1823). - Jefferson Co. - I am searching for the parents of George Gourley Chitester(b. 1-6-1863 he died in Punxy.). He was married to Jennie Jemima Wiley (b. 1-1-1865) on May 12, 1886. I am also looking for Jennie Wiley's parents. They had 3 children, Clyde, Lawrence, and Wilda (she went by Irene). Clyde married Dessie Barnett (she died in 1986 and is buried in Brookville) and they had 5 children, David, Charles, Carl, Viola (Plyler), and Helen (Penn). My grandfather is David (b. 4-12-1914 in Knox Twp.) and he married (m. 1-16-1937) Margaret M. Miller (b. 6-5-1918 Summerville, d. 9-14-99). Her father is Frank Potter Miller who married Georgia Reynolds (I have the Reynolds history.). Frank's mother was Margaret Jane King and his father John T. Miller. Frank's siblings are Ray, Elsie, Ralph, Miles and Roy. I am looking for the parents of John T. Miller and Margaret Jane King. Margaret Jane King's brother was Alvin King.
