Seeeking info re: John WALTERS, b. ca. 1805, and wife Susannah PROCIOUS or BROCIES, b. ca. 1811-18, lived in Rose Twp., Jefferson Co., PA in 1840. His parents were supposedly John & Catherine Walters. John and Susannah were in Green Co., WI in 1850. They had twin sons, Thomas and Peter, b. 1834, among other children. .

1860 Census lists David HIME (age 55), Salome (age 53), children Sarah, Catharine, Mary, Rosianna, William, Ellen B.,& Joel. All b: in Pa. 1870 census lists David HIMES, Salome, Joel, and two unreadable names. (the film is very faint from the New Castle Public Library, able to make out only some of the information). However it says Salome is born in Switzerland., person listed at bottom of household is also b: in Switzerland. I am looking for the name of this person. also any information on the rest of these children. I know Joel m: Elizabeth REITZ, Catharine m: Peter David Reitz, Elizabeths brother. I have a copy of my g.grandmother's obit. from April 1919. Her name was Sarah MYERS. The funeral service was held at the home of her son William ELLENBERGER on Worth St. Reynoldsville,Jefferson Co. Pa. and "interment was made in the cemetery at Panic." She was "one of the pioneer residents of the Panic section". I would appriciate any info. on the cemetery and/or surviving family: Daughters Mrs. David BUHITE(Nancy),of Troutville, Mrs. Harrison MOTHERWELL(Becky), and a sister Mrs. Charles Kemp of Reynoldsville.
