Biography
John (III) and Sarah (ROSS) POSTLETHWAIT were married 1793 in Mifflin or Huntingdon Co., PA. Moved first to Armstrong Co. and then about 1818 to Jefferson Co. They owned a farm in Perry Township and spent the remainder of their lives in Jefferson Co. John and Sarah are buried in Perry Memorial Cemetery. Their children were: David married Jane BELL; Hannah married William McKEE; John (IV) married Mary Eliza TIMLIN; Martha died young; William married Jane McHENRY; Mary married William JOHNSTON; James Ross married Elizabeth PIPER.
