Biography
Benedict Angles came to the United States about 1844 with his wife Scholastica VanMilders Angles and two young children. According to Kate Scott's book "History of Jefferson County", he returned to Belgium in 1846 or 1847 to induce others to come to the United States. He applied for citizenship 7 August 1846. Benedict died prior to 1851 and Scholastica married Jacob Mineweaser in 1851.
