History
The oldest marked burial in the cemetery is for Samuel N. Gahagan who died 21 March 1845. There are numerous metal funeral home markers throughout the cemetery - one has meet its fate by a lawn mower. There are 36 marked burials but undoubtedly there are many more within the confines of the cemetery.

Located on Fairview Road. Take Rt 36 North from Punxsutawney about 3 miles, turn left onto Rte 536 towards Frostburg for about 4.9 miles, and turn left onto Porter Road at Grange. Go about 5.9 miles and turn left onto Fairview Road go about a half mile. Just past the Porter Township Community Center you will find the cemetery on the left.
