Adolphus CRIPPEN lived on a farm near Trunkeyville with his wife Amanda JONES , until his death in 1884. I am looking for any information that I can find on Adolphus or Amanda, or life in Harmony Township from 1860-1885. During this period Trunkeyville was a prosperous oil boom town, as were the nearby towns of Fagundus and Tidioute.

I am looking to communicate with descendants of Frank GARVEY or his wife, Hanora "Nora" KEATING . Their daughter, Mary Teresa GARVEY married Adolphus Lewis CRIPPEN in 1884. The GARVEY family lived on a farm in Harmony Township across the creek from Adolphus CRIPPEN and Amanda Jones.

Anson Wesley HAIGHT was born in Clarington on 14 July 1870 . He was the son of Andrew Jackson HAIGHT and Sarah Stewart , and a descendant of Simon & Moses HOYT/HAIGHT. On 24 December 1892 he married Adda Tinemuth CYPHERT of Brookville, Jefferson, PA. The HAIGHTS were staunch members of the Wesleyan Methodist Church, as are a number of HAIGHT descendants. I would like to share information with any HAIGHT descendants or with anyone familiar with the Methodist ministry in Forest County from 1850-1910.

My Great-great grandmother was Elizabeth SIGGINS, her father was George Simpson SIGGINS. and her mother Rachel DAWSON. Elizabeth married Clinton Shade SMITH of Tylersburg who lost the use of his left arm in the Civil War.The SIGGINS family home was in West Hickory. Elizabeth was born 21 Sept 1851 in West Hickory. I am looking for the SIGGINS family with a connection to a SIMPSON family. My cousin Elizabeth NEFF, who is 94 years old, told me when she closed the family home she gave a lot of things to the Historical Society in Tionesta. Elizabeth had an older sister Emeline Harriet SIGGINS who married a John Wesley HOWE who also had served in the Civil War. There also some other SIGGINS sisters: Justina, Jane, Frances, Hannah, and two other sisters (I do not know their names), and one brother Orion SIGGINS. Any information on these people would be appreciated. Thank You very much

Searching for info on Dana BEAN who married to Edith MARSH BEAN from Forest County. They had 3 children, one of which was Geary Willis BEAN, b 1903 in BlueJay PA. He had three boys: Robert,Tommy,and Richard, born and raised at 620 Water St. in Warren, Geary's wife was Chrissy FITZGERALD from Warren, also known to be a patient at the State Hospital as late as 1958. Geary W. BEAN was a police officer with WBPD for many years, as I recall a captain or lieutenent. Dana BEAN was rumored to be a con man before the turn of the century and this is why the family does not speak of our heritage. Any insights, facts, or help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm from Armstrong County, PA and I just found out that my great Grandma Cook was full blooded Seneca Indian. I would like to find out the history of the "Cooke's Forest" Indians with the early settler's of Western Pennsylvania. P.S. The only info I have is that "Jack LOOKABAUGH" is the person who married into the Seneca Indian's of this region.

Am seeking the parents of Charles W FISK, also descendents. Charles W FISK was active in the oil fields most of his working life and died as result of an accident associated with being a pumper.
