I am looking to meet descendents and/or researchers who are looking into the Maloney, Decker, Brown, or Flynn families of Johnsonburg, Elk County, PA. I am especially interested in these families prior to 1900. I have alot of documentation as well as photos and would love to exchange notes with other cousins or genealogists. Looking for Thomas Waters Dent (1787-1857) family. Thomas came to Pennsylvania in the early 1800's and married Elizabeth Overturf (Oberdorf). They had 11 children who married in the Elk/Cameron County area. Many of the spouses' surnames are listed above. Any information would be greatly appreciated. I especially seek information on Andrew Dent's wife Julia Lorshbaugh (b.9/24/1817-d. 1876) whos father is Amos Lorshbaugh. Thanks, Amy Dent

Looking for any infomation on the above surnames. Understand some of the Grinnen relatives still live in the Brockway area. Have very little information on this line. Do know that the spelling of the Grinnen name was changed in the early 1900's. Our line now spells it Grennan. Understand my husbands gr grandfather was Harry Grinnen who married Jessie Brownlee/Bromley

I'm looking for any information concerning my grgrandmother Margarethe Stauber (Stauffer)who emigrated from Germany (Grafenwoehr) to St. Marys PA. She followed her two daughters Ann Gradl and Catherine Gradl who left Germany in 1886. My grgrandmother decided to go to the USA when she was ca 80 years old. My family told me that she died in July 1913. (I suppose in St. Marys PA) So far I could not find any further information. Thank you for any help.

I am looking for information regarding my great grandfather, Alexander Bushey (Bouche?), married to Lily Turley, who settled in Weedville in the early 1900's. They had 7 children: Freda, Grant, George, Leo, Charles, Louis and Revine. George Bushey (my grandfather) is buried in Weedville - he died in the early 1950's. Thanks.

My grandmother was Anna Mathilda Peterson born in Dagus Mines,Pa in 1890. Her parents were John Peterson and Mathilda. Her brother was Charles D. The 1920 Census for Fox Township, Dagus Mines lists John Peterson as a 69 yr old coalminer still working. He was from Sweden immigrating in 1883 and naturalized in 1890. Anna is 30 single. Charles is 14 and single. John is a widow. Language is Swedish. I am looking info on my grandmother and her parents and her brother.

I am looking for info on the siblings of Wilbert Norman Runyan born May 14, 1897 in Elbon. Wilbert's parents were William Henry Runyan and Jane Myrtle. I know that William And Jane had at least one child before Wilbert. Thank you.
