Looking for parents of both John SMITH (possibly SCHMIDT at birth) b. 17 Oct 1817 in Centre Co., PA and Hannah DALE (wonder if DIEHL might be a possiblility???) b. 13 Feb 1825 in Centre Co., PA. John SMITH married Hannah DALE abt 1846 near New Bethlehem, Clarion Co., PA; John & Hannah resided 1850-1855 in Heath and/or Polk Twps. Jefferson Co., PA. where two of their children were possibly born, i.e., William Calvin 1847 & Sidney 14 Apr 1850. Their son, George Lawson born 17 May 1853 was supposedly born in Clarion Co., PA. The other children were born in Clearfield Co. and are Margaret A. 4 mar 1856, Robert Milton 9 Feb 1859, Elmer Ellsworth 18 Jan 1862, and Emma F. 14 Feb 1865. John Smith died 19 Dec 1887 in Bloom Twp., Clearfield Co., PA. Hannah, his wife died 25 Oct 1902 in the same place. They are both buried in Chestnut Grove Cem., Bloom Twp., Clearfield, PA..

My Joseph DUDGEON was m. twice, I believe, once possible to a Mary Hanna. I have him b 1780. Children were Seaborn, b abt 1801, John b 1802, William B 1803, Thomas b 1805, Eliza 1815, Margaret b 1816 (my great grandmother)and Ann Dudgeon b. 1805. Thomas and Ann were twins. This family lived on West Pike Run, Washington Co, PA. Margaret m Thomas M Thompson, they later moved to Shiawassee Co MI. They had 3 sons William, Eli, Thomas Jr., and one dau. Maria. Maria m. John Krauth and also moved to Michigan,

My ancestor, Daniel Spackman, married Sarah Mathers in CLEARFIELD county, PA. I have nothing more on the Mathers name. Charles Ray Spackman married Sarah Alice McGary in PA. I assume in CLEARFIELD county. She died in Oregon. I would be interested in a contact from someone who is intersted in the McGarys. Harry B. Spackman, son of Charles Ray Spackman my only knowledge of Harry B. is in a listing in a Polk's Punxsutawney City Directory 1910-1911, he is listed as Spackman Harry B, lineman Summerville Tel. Co. h. 103 Greenwood Av. Anyone know anything about this Harry B. or the Tel. Co. Perhaps if I Knew where the Company was located I could start there.

DAVID BLACK died July 1901, buried in Mahaffey Cemetary, Mahaffey, Clearfield County. Children ELLA E (BLACK) TOOKE who married JOHN TOOKE of Mahaffey, and CLARK E BLACK who lived in Patton, Cambria County at time of David's death. JAMES E BLACK, son of DAVID BLACK, is my great grandfather. VEDA TOOKE,daughter of Ella and John Tooke, married WILLIAM MACKEY in 1902; marriage record in Clearfield County.

Issac Thompson was born in Pennsylvania in 1788. He died in Clearfield, Co. 20 March 1877. He married Keziah ___ who was born 25 Aug. 1793 and died in Clearfield 16 Feb. 1871. I have been hunting for Isaacs parents. His children were Isaac, Ann who died in Clearfield 1871, Mary who married James B.Schofield in 1835, Clearfield, Keziah who married Kelita R. Hudson, Robert who lived inheireted Isaac's farm in Bloom TWP and Stacy my g-grandfather who married Elizabeth Bloom dau. of James and Mary Ann Passmore Bloom.
