Obituary 

 
Theodore J. Peters, 88, of Apple Creek, Ohio, formerly of West Mayfield, Pa, and North Fort Myers, Fla., went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 14, 1997.

Born Jun 9, 1908, in Mineral Springs, Pa., he was the son of the late Roy and Elva Wisor Peters. (Note: his mother's name was Maggie Elva Bloom, his first wife Alice's mother was Blanche Wisor).

He was a self-employed carpet installer in Florida.

He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Flossie M. Bergdorf Shaken Peters, five sons and daughters-in-law, Theodore and Virginia Peters, Peoria, Ariz.; John and Darlene Peters, East Palestine, Ohio; Norman and Mittie Peters, New Brighton; Martin and Valerie Peters, Fort Myers, Fla., and Richard and Judi Shaken, South Carolina; two daughters and a son-in-law, Mrs. Barbara Jackson, North Fort Myers, Fla.,; and Linda and Terry Theis, Columbus, Ohio; several grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; a brother, Burt Peters, Zepherhills, Fla., and two sisters Emma Lynch, Zepherhills, Fla., and Pansy Duke, Clearfield, Pa.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Alice Lansberry Peters in 1965; a son, Kenneth Peters; a daughter, Donna Lorraine Peters; and a grandson and a granddaughter.

Friends will be received Monday and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Campbell's Beaver Falls Funeral Home, 14th Street and 8th Avenue, where services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m., with the Rev. Susan McKinnis, pastor of Brush Run United Methodist Church, South Beaver Township, officiating.

Interment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Daughtery Township.
