John D. Bell M.D14 Dec 1997 Am seeking information on the families of REIMUND, Henry and RADEBOUGH Mary Ann. Henry was probably born in Bedford Sept 8 1823. Mary Ann born in Bedford Jan 5, 1831. They were married in Bedford in 1852. Henry had brother Soloman with roots in Bedford. They moved to Champaign Ill. and finally to Beatrice Neb. Have fairly good records from that point on to share.

Looking for information on Uriah HUGHES, b 1760-70 in NJ. Phebe (Shaw) KENNAR widow of James KENNAR may have been his wife. His sons were George, Joseph b. abt 1791 and Uriah, Jr. born in 1794 in Bucks Co. In 1797 they are found in Bedford Co. (West Providence). Joseph married Elizabeth (MNU) and their son Cyrus Smith HUGHES was born 12 OCT 1820. Their other children were: Julia Ann, John, Margaret, Lidia and Ellis.
In the 1830's Uriah, Sr and sons George and Joseph went to Athens Co., OH. Uriah died there in 1843. Any help with this family will be greatly appreciated.

GRUBB, GRUBBS, GRUB I am desperately seeking information on the GRUBBS (any spelling) family that lived in Bedford Co. in the late 1700s to mid 1800's. My GGGrandfather was born in Indiana Co., PA in 1845. His father was thought to be from one of the surrounding counties. I have no other information on him other than his name may have been Jacob. While searching my family roots, I came across information stating that my gr.gr.gr. grandparents: Ellis Rogers(Rodgers) and Ester Wall, lived and died in Bedford County, PA. He was from Scotland 1740, she was a Welsh woman 1740... they came to America in 1760 settled in Adams County the moved to Bedford. Looking for Parthena Christina SPICKMAN ..... or SPIKEMAN ..... or SPEAKMAN. Reportedly lived in Bedford Co., PA at time of her marriage to Isaac HUNSAKER. They were married in 1799. Moved to Muhlenberg Co., KY. In 1790 Bedford Co. census, there is a John Spickman, on page 20. I assume he was fa or uncle? Willing to share all I have. Can anyone help me?
