Methodist Episcopal Church of St. Clairsville, East St. Clair Twp.

History: The Methodist Episcopal church of St. Clairsville was organized in 1881 by Rev. Mr. Pennington, of Pleasantville, with a small membership. The society purchased a small meeting-house from the Presbyterians for four hundred dollars. The membership is still (1884) small.
